Capturing the very essence of a season in a steamy beverage is tough work. But that’s just what we did when we combined freshly brewed espresso, bittersweet chocolate sauce, the flavor of dark sweet cherries and steamed milk. We were ecstatic (and a little surprised) when the very embodiment of springtime bloomed in our coffee mugs – a delicious Dark Cherry Mocha.

The nickname 'Cherrypickers' is still given to the British 11th Hussars. During the Napoleonic War, 10 soldiers from the regiment were so engrossed in picking and eating cherries that they failed to spot an advancing French cavalry detachment. They were captured – hands and mouths still sticky!
